The green police kept bothering the thief till he tolled them were the Franks and VanDanns were hiding.

The play began in 1945 with Mr. Frank being back at the attic. Everything was dusty and the chairs were overturned. He is standing and looking slowly for any of his belongings. Mr. Frank is sick and very weak and with his clothes torn apart. Mr. Frank finds a glove and starts to cry. Mr. Frank was not sure  in staying in Amsterdam because it brought him back to many memories but Miep kept telling him that his home is here  and so is his business.Miep gives Mr. Frank papers that she found after they had left.Mr.Frank just tolled Miep to burn them all until Miep says “burn this”. Mr. Frank sees that it is Anne’s Diary and he opens it and starts reading it. The play goes back to Monday, the 6 of June, and 1942.Mr.Frank starts to reading Anne’s Diary and she starts describing herself. Anne had to put as many clothes as she can. The Van Danns and Franks go to hide at the attic. Since they were hiding their everyday activities were limited. While hiding they had to remain silent till after 6pm, after all the Nazi solider had gone home. Miep and Mr.Kraler are non-jewish and are giving supplies to them. Peter is the only young guy there and he has a cat named Mouschi. Anne and peter take of the Star of David because they cant go outside and don’t like being labeled. Anne and peter still learn thanks to Miep’s books. They celebrate the arrival of Mr.Dussel with cognac (beer). The VanDanns don’t like the idea of a new guest because of limited resources that they have. The Franks left a fake letter, that common practice by Jews; to get people to believe they left their homes.Dussel tells them the truth about what is happening to the jews.Unlike Mr.Kraler who says things are improving. Anne and Mr. Dussel are roommates, Mr.Dussel does not practice Judaism. Hanukkah is one of the holidays that Jewish practice and it lasted 8 days. Anne gives everybody used gifts and Anne is trying to give peter hope through religious faiths. They hear noise below, peter fails making a loud sound trying to turn on a light. Frank decides to check it out. The intruder was a thief who stole the radio.Peter’s cat Mouschi was missing and the thief revealed to Gestapo were they were hiding. Gestapo found the Franks and VanDanns and took them to concentration camps.Mr.Frank was the only survivor and published Anne Diary.
