· In 1833 the group of Nazi takes power of Germany. Adolf Hitler becomes the leader or prime minister of Germany. The Nazis set up the first concentration camp at Dachau.
· In 1834 Hitler combines the positions of chancellor and president to become 'Fuhrer' or leader of Germany. The Jewish newspapers were no longer being sold in the streets. Jews were getting limited in things to do.
· In 1835 Jews are deprived of their citizenship and many other basic rights. The Nazis intensify the persecution of political people that don’t agree with his philosophy.Jews were very limited.
· In 1836 the Nazis took control of Jewish-owned business. The Olympic Games were held in Germany and signs Jews negatively are removed until the event is over. Did not have the right to vote anymore.
· In 1838 German troops annexed Austria. Jews no longer head businesses and weren’t able to attend plays, concerts, etc and also all Jewish children are moved to Jewish schools. Jewish businesses are shut down; they must sell businesses and hand over securities and jewels. Jews must be in certain places at certain times.
· In 1839 Hitler orders that Jews must follow curfews. Jews had to turn in radios to the green police. All Jews need to wear yellow stars of David to identify them.
· In 1840 Nazis begin deporting German Jews to Poland. Jews were forced to go into ghettos. The Nazis begin their first mass murder of Jews in Poland. Jews are put into concentration camps.
· In 1841 Germany attacks the Soviet Union. Jews throughout Western Europe are forced also into ghettos. Jews may not leave their houses without permission form the green police. The Jews were also no longer able use public telephones on the street or anymore.
· In 1842 Nazi officials discuss the 'Final Solution' which is their plan to kill all European Jews. Jews weren’t able subscribe to newspapers, keep dogs, cats, or any type of animal. They were not able to keep electrical equipment including typewriters or own bicycles and couldn’t buy meat, eggs, or mild, and couldn’t use public transportation
· Most of the Jews were getting captured and either killed or alive. In 1843 February about 80 to 85 percent of the Jews, who were suppose to die in the Holocaust have already been murdered. They murdered the ones that weren’t useful to them.
· In 1844 Hitler takes over Hungary. They begin deporting 12,000 Hundreds of Jews each day to Auschwitz. Where mostly they were all going to be murdered.
· In 1845 Hitler is finally defeated and World War II ends in Europe. The Holocaust is finally over and the death camps are emptied. Many survivors are placed in displaced persons facilities.
